Shikha Subramaniam

Shikha Subramaniam is a Senior News Designer and Art Director on the News Design Team at The Washington Post, where professional experience began in December 2020. Additionally, Shikha serves as a UX/UI Designer at The Lede Lab, focusing on innovation and research. Prior experience includes working as a Senior Interaction Designer at Code and Theory from January 2017 to December 2020, collaborating with strategy, visual design, and engineering teams to create innovative web and product solutions for various high-profile clients. Shikha's career also includes an internship as a Graphic Designer at Ogilvy & Mather in Gurgaon, India, which provided valuable insight into corporate design dynamics. Educational qualifications consist of a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Communication Design from Pratt Institute and a Bachelor of Arts with honors in English Literature from Delhi University.
