Mike Carroll has extensive experience in operations management, particularly within the broadcasting industry. Currently serving as Sr. Operations Manager at The Weather Network since March 2017, Carroll previously held various key positions at CBC/Radio-Canada from 1992 to 2016. These roles included Project and Operations Manager, where Carroll led technology enhancements and cost-saving initiatives, and General Manager of Glenn Gould Studio, overseeing a $700K operational budget and managing over 200 events annually. Additional responsibilities included managing technical operations, equipment procurement, and supporting multiple radio stations. Carroll's educational background includes studies at Fanshawe College from 1990 to 1992.
