Helga Zambrano

Helga Zambrano, Ph.D., currently serves as a Humanities Teacher and Advisor at The Webb Schools, focusing on 9th-grade core courses and 11th/12th-grade electives while also being an Assistant Coach for women's varsity soccer and men's cross country. Prior experience includes teaching Middle School Religion and Spanish at Corpus Christi School, where a student-centered Spanish curriculum was developed, and serving as Digital Content Strategist for the Diocese of Oakland. As a doctoral candidate at UCLA, research centered on sound machines in Nicaraguan literature, complemented by extensive teaching and grant writing experience. With a strong background in public relations and event coordination, Helga has contributed to various educational initiatives and secured significant funding for research efforts across international platforms. Education includes a Ph.D. and Master's in Comparative Literature from UCLA, and a Bachelor's degree from UC Berkeley.
