John Neal

John Neal is an experienced professional in performance coaching and sports development, currently serving as the National Lead for Performance Coaching at the Welsh Rugby Union since March 2023. As Managing Director of Neal Training since November 1990, John has established health clubs and well-being contracts that prioritize personalized customer service. John previously held notable roles, including Head of Coach Development at the England & Wales Cricket Board, where a comprehensive blended learning program was redesigned, and Chair of England Lacrosse. As a Wellbeing Consultant for The Royal Household, John created an on-site facility and management program. John holds a range of academic qualifications, including a Certificate in Performance Coaching from Hinsta and a PG Diploma in Sport Psychology from Newcastle College. Additionally, John has contributed as a performance consultant across various sports, including rugby, cricket, and F1.
