The Whole Child - Mental Health & Housing
Beatriz Sandoval is an experienced Family Resource Coordinator at The Whole Child since May 2019 and has served as Vocational Education & Enrichment Coordinator at Downtown Women's Center since September 2015. In these roles, Beatriz mentors women facing homelessness through a Peer Leadership Program, oversees volunteer facilitation of educational and employment workshops, and collaborates with community partners to enhance vocational education and employment opportunities. Beatriz administers intake assessments and provides intensive case management, utilizing evidence-based practices such as Trauma-Informed Care and Motivational Interviewing to assist clients in overcoming barriers to housing, health services, and job training. Beatriz holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice Administration from California State University-Dominguez Hills and an Associate's degree in Administration of Justice from Fullerton College.
