Carly has a bachelor’s degree from Portland State University in environmental science and management and minors in biology and sustainability. She joins the Xerces Society with 5 yrs of experience working at the Tualatin River National Wildlife Refuge, where she began as a volunteer. Carly has held a multitude of positions at the Refuge, including community engagement coordinator and habitat restoration specialist. She is passionate about working with volunteers and the community to achieve positive conservation outcomes.
