Liam Houston started their career in 2004 as an Analyst at Houston's Farm, where they were responsible for designing and creating forecasting and crop scheduling databases. Liam also implemented data collection systems and conducted data analysis. During their time at Houston's Farm, they worked until 2012. In 2014, they worked as an Administration Manager at Edwards PC, Creative Law for a year. In 2015, Liam began working as an Agronomist at Houstons Farm and stayed until 2017. Currently, they are working as a Business Analyst at The Yield, starting in March 2017 with no end date specified.

Liam Houston pursued their education in a chronological order, starting from their earliest degree. In 2005, they enrolled at the University of Tasmania and completed their Bachelor of Agricultural Science (B.Agri.Sci) in 2009, focusing on Agribusiness and Agricultural Business Operations. Following this, from 2008 to 2010, Liam attended the University of Tasmania again and attained a Bachelor of Business (B.Bus) with a specialization in Finance.

Later on, in 2012, Liam acquired a 120 Hour TESOL Certificate from TEFL International Buenos Aires, Recoleta, enhancing their skills in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. Lastly, Liam pursued postgraduate studies from 2016 to 2020 at the SOAS University of London, where they obtained an MSc in Agricultural Economics, concentrating in the field of Agricultural Economics.
