Spence Baker is a seasoned software engineer with over 25 years of experience in programming and technical leadership. Currently serving as a Software Engineer Team Lead at The General® since September 2007, Spence has also held positions as iSeries Technical Lead and Senior iSeries Programmer Analyst. Prior experience includes roles at Cinram as a Computer Programmer, and Direct General Auto Insurance as a Senior Programmer. Spence contributed to Swift Denim and Garan as a Computer Programmer, and began a programming career at Viking Range Corporation. Spence holds an Associate of Arts degree in Computer Programming from Northwest Mississippi Community College, earned between 1993 and 1995.
