Shimon Eckhouse is the chairman and co-founder of Theranica. Shimon has also founded, chaired, and been the CEO of Lumenis and ESC Medical Systems. Shimon has been instrumental in taking both companies public and increasing their value tremendously. In July 2017, Syneron-Candela was acquired by APAX partners in a “going private” transaction.
Shimon Eckhouse received a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Physics from UC Irvine. Shimon also holds a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Physics from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
