Pravin Karve became a member of the Executive Council in August 2010, and is the CEO of Thermax Babcock and Wilcox Energy Solutions (TBWES). He also supervises the Corporate Sourcing Group and the Corporate Materials Forum. He joined Thermax as a Graduate Trainee Engineer in 1984 and has worked in various functions like sales, proposals, field sales, international marketing, sourcing, operations, etc. He was part of the core team leading the company’s transformation initiatives. Before taking over the current role, he was the Business Unit Head for Boiler & Heater, and prior to that, he headed the Air Pollution Control (Enviro) business. Pravin completed his Mechanical Engineering from Walchand College of Engineering, Sangli in 1984.
