Matt Hershfeld

Matt Hershfeld is a seasoned procurement professional with extensive experience in IT services and software procurement. Currently serving as the Senior Director of IT Procurement at Thermo Fisher Scientific since November 2021, Matt previously held significant roles at Merck, including Director of Technology Procurement and Associate Sourcing Director, leading a team responsible for over $160 million in IT services procurement. Prior experience includes Director of Strategic Software Procurement at Hewlett Packard Enterprise and various senior roles at GSK, where responsibilities included managing IT Software and Services procurement with a spend of approximately $300 million and overseeing IT Services and Telecommunications procurement for around $480 million. Matt holds an MBA in Finance/Accounting and a BBA in Finance from Baylor University.
