Nader Riad

Nader Riad is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in advanced engineering and automation across multiple industries. Currently serving as the Director of Advanced Engineering at Thermo Fisher Scientific since February 2021, Nader leads the advanced engineering team supporting global operations for life science and lab products. Prior to this role, Nader held several positions at Amgen from September 2015 to February 2021, including Sr Manager and Principal Engineer, where responsibilities included overseeing design and operations of manufacturing facilities and leading automation teams. Nader also contributed to Baxter International as a Principal Automation Engineer and has experience with control systems design at Dar Al Handasah and in SCADA system deployment. Nader Riad holds an MBA from the Isenberg School of Management at UMass Amherst, a Master's degree in Manufacturing Automation from California State University, Northridge, and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport.
