Sam Sherry

Sam Sherry is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in intellectual property and technology sectors. Currently serving as Sr. Director of IP Strategy for the Analytic Instruments Group at Thermo Fisher Scientific since February 2022, Sam previously held the position of Partner at Goodwin Procter LLP from October 2012 to February 2022 and worked as an Attorney at Fish & Richardson P.C. from September 2006 to October 2012, focusing on intellectual property litigation. Earlier career roles include Director of Software Development at Permabit and Program Manager at Microsoft. Sam holds a J.D. from Harvard Law School and possesses advanced degrees in Computer Science and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Computer Science from Wesleyan University, complemented by a foundational education at Buckingham, Browne & Nichols School.
