Luis Alberto Denis Miranda

Luis Alberto Denis Miranda has held various positions in the field of data science since 2016. In 2016, they were a Research Assistant at Centro de Investigación de Tecnologías Integradas, where they conducted research on supervised learning and intelligent agents and supervised students attached to the research group. In 2017, they became a Teaching Assistant at Universidad Tecnólogica de La Habana "Jose Antonio Echeverría", CUJAE, where they taught Probability and Statistics and designed and graded exams. In 2019, they became a Data Scientist at BBVA AI Factory, where they designed and built anti money laundering solutions to protect banks and fintechs and developed an engine to detect anomalies in high-interest time series data for the BBVA Compliance Office. Most recently, in 2021, they became a Senior Data Scientist at ThetaRay, where they focused on unsupervised and semi-supervised machine learning to detect unknown threats patterns and led the development of ThetaRay's network analysis tools.

Luis Alberto Denis Miranda holds a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering from the Universidad Tecnológica de La Habana "José Antonio Echeverría" CUJAE.
