Brendan Pollard

Brendan Pollard is an experienced operations and production leader with a strong background in the mining industry. Currently serving as Operations Manager and Operations Superintendent at Vitrinite since June 2024, Brendan has also held the position of Production Leader at Thiess since October 2022. Previously, Brendan was a Production Specialist at BHP from January 2020 to October 2022, focusing on performance improvement and leadership development. With a decade of experience at Thiess as a Supervisor and Training Specialist, Brendan implemented competency-based training and management plans, led machine performance projects, and championed diversity and inclusion initiatives. Brendan's early career included roles at Downer EDI Mining, where leadership and training were key responsibilities.
