Patrick Donnelly

Patrick Donnelly is a highly experienced Senior Mining Engineer with a robust background in the mining industry. Currently serving at Thiess since January 2021, Patrick has also held the same senior position at Whitehaven Coal from September 2019 to January 2021, and previously worked at Rio Tinto in various senior roles, including Specialist Mining Operations, from January 2011 to September 2019. Earlier in his career, Patrick gained hands-on experience as an Operator at RGN Mining Services. Educationally, Patrick holds a Master of Business Administration and a Graduate Certificate in Mineral Economics from Curtin University, coupled with a Bachelor of Engineering in Mining Engineering from the University of Wollongong and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mining Engineering from the University of Alberta.
