Jonathan Lachman

Jonathan Lachman is the Head of Special Projects at OpenAI since May 2023, contributing to various company-wide initiatives and strategic partnerships as part of the senior leadership team. Previously, Jonathan served as the Head of Strategic Operations at Blend from May 2018 to April 2023, where significant growth was achieved from $20 million to $250 million in annual revenue, culminating in a successful IPO in 2021. Jonathan also co-led a 25-person people team during a leadership transition at Blend. Prior experience includes roles as Chief Operating Officer at Leap Motion, Associate Director for National Security Programs at The White House, and various positions within the United States Department of Defense. Jonathan holds an A.B. in History from Princeton University and a Master of Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School.
