Frank Tybor

Frank Tybor is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in technology leadership and aerospace industries. Currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at ThinkOrbital and Current Power Energy Systems, Tybor has previously held key roles at Energy Vault as VP of Energy Storage Technologies and VP of Engineering, and as Chief Engineer. Other prominent positions include Vice President of Product Development at WET (Design), Sr. Flight Test Engineer at Kitty Hawk, and Principal Engineer/Launch Projects Manager at SpaceX. Tybor began a career in advanced systems concepts at MIT Lincoln Laboratory and served as a Lead Mechanical Engineer at Genalyte, Inc. Tybor holds a Master’s degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Stanford University and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering from UC Irvine.
