Christopher Hornat is currently working at Thintronics® as a Scientist. Previously, Christopher held positions at Bolt Threads and Zymergen, where Christopher worked on the development and characterization of bio-based materials and molecules for various applications. Christopher's extensive experience in polymer synthesis, thermal analysis, and project management has contributed to their success in the materials science field. Prior to their industry roles, Christopher conducted research on self-healing and shape memory polymers at Clemson University, where Christopher obtained their Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering. Christopher's background also includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Lehigh University.
