Dennis Dean

Dennis Dean currently serves as Chief Non-Clinical Development Officer at Third Harmonic Bio, a position held since May 2024. Prior to this, Dennis held the role of Chief Development Officer at IFM Therapeutics from April 2016 to May 2024. Dennis's extensive experience includes significant leadership positions at Vertex Pharmaceuticals, where responsibilities spanned from Senior Vice President of Preclinical Development/CMC to Senior Vice President of Global Exploratory Development and Vice President of DMPK. Dennis's early career includes a role as Executive Director of DMPK at Merck from 1989 to 2009. Education credentials include a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Organic Synthesis from Emory University and a PhD in Medicinal Chemistry from the University at Buffalo.
