Michael W. Pantoliano

Michael W. Pantoliano is a seasoned biophysics and lead discovery consultant with extensive experience in the biopharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as a consultant at Third Rock Ventures since January 2012 and as a principal at Pharmaceutical & Biotechnology Consulting since September 2011, Michael has also contributed to Faze Medicines, Flare Therapeutics, Cedilla Therapeutics, and Relay Therapeutics in similar consulting roles. Previously, as Senior Director of Lead Discovery at Constellation Pharmaceuticals, Michael established high throughput screening capabilities and supported medicinal chemistry. At Genzyme Corporation, Michael set up an HTS screening lab targeting genetic diseases, and as a Scientific Fellow at Millennium Pharmaceuticals, led a high throughput biochemistry group. Michael's early career included significant contributions at 3 Dimensional Pharmaceuticals, where innovative biophysical assay strategies were developed. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Rutgers University and an NIH Postdoctoral Fellowship in Biophysics from Harvard University.
