Tom Hooper is a seasoned entrepreneur and finance professional with a strong background in education and investment management. As the Founder and CEO of Third Space Learning since October 2012, Tom focuses on providing quality online tuition to enhance student learning globally. Prior to this, Tom founded TES Brightspark, an affordable tutoring solution sold to TES Global in 2012, and worked as an Investment Manager at Aberdeen Asset Management, where expertise in UK and European equities was developed. Tom began their career as a Research Assistant to the leader of the opposition in the UK Parliament. Tom holds a CFA from the CFA Institute and a 2:1 MA in Philosophy and Politics from The University of Edinburgh.

Tuition is a $200bn global industry that tends to serve the wealthy minority. TSL's goal is to serve the under-served majority, aligning a social mission with the greatest market opportunity.
