Steven Dieterle, CPA has over 25 years of work experience in various financial and accounting roles. Steven has served as the Chief Financial Officer at Third Way since 2013, managing all financial aspects of the organization and ensuring compliance with grant restrictions.
From 2014 to 2018, they worked as an Independent Financial Consultant, providing financial and accounting consulting services to business startups in the energy infrastructure development and micro-finance industries. During this time, they implemented best practice recommendations for accounting systems and advised on year-end financial statement audits and investor reporting.
Prior to that, Steven worked at Cotton & Company LLP as a Manager, specializing in U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Financial Reporting and Analysis Services. Steven also gained significant experience as a Senior Auditor at Reznick Group, where they planned and executed external audits for clients in various industries.
Steven's earlier experience includes serving as a Senior Portfolio Accountant at Clark Enterprises, managing the accounting and reporting team for multiple investment partnerships, and as a Senior Treasury Accountant at Adventist HealthCare, overseeing the organization's debt and investment portfolios.
Steven began their career at Thomson Financial as a Research Analyst and Technical Writer, providing research on equity markets, and later served as the Director of Finance and Accounting at AccuTech, where they were responsible for all financial and accounting aspects of the corporation.

Steven Dieterle, CPA, completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting at East Carolina University. Steven attended the university from 1989 to 1994, studying in the field of accounting.
