Shelley Cernel has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Shelley currently serves as the VP of Marketing at Thirty Capital since March 2022. Prior to that, they held the same position at DebtBook from June 2021 to March 2022. Before that, they worked as the Director, Head of Marketing & Sales Enablement at Morgan Samuels from August 2020 to June 2021. Shelley also worked as the Social Media Marketing Director at Built Creative from December 2012 to March 2021. In addition, they held the role of Marketing Director (via acquisition) at RealPage, Inc. from November 2019 to July 2020. Earlier in their career, they served as the Head Of Marketing at Investor Management Services from December 2017 to November 2019. Shelley also held the position of Senior Marketing Manager at KnowledgeTree from February 2015 to June 2017 and at SAVO Group from June 2017 to December 2017 (via acquisition). Shelley worked as a Marketing and Public Relations Manager at Sageworks from March 2014 to February 2015. Shelley also has teaching experience as a Lecturer at North Carolina State University, where they taught courses on Brand Management, Social Media Marketing, and Supply Chain Technology from January 2013 to May 2014. Prior to that, they worked as a Project Manager in Social Media Marketing from December 2011 to January 2013 at the same university.
Shelley Cernel has a diverse educational background. Shelley holds a Masters of Science (MS) degree in Textile Technology Management with a focus on Global Marketing from North Carolina State University. Shelley also earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Fashion and Textile Management with a specialization in Brand Management and Marketing, as well as a minor in Business Administration with a Management focus, both from North Carolina State University. In addition, Shelley studied Fashion Anthropology at the Lorenzo de' Medici Institute. Shelley completed their high school education at Enloe High School. Additionally, Shelley has obtained a certification in Digital Analytics Fundamentals from Google Analytics.
