Mark Sirota is an experienced professional in the field of controls and electronics, currently serving as the Controls Group Leader at the Thirty Meter Telescope Observatory Corporation. Mark has held significant roles, including Project Manager at Magdalena Ridge Observatory from 2002 to 2005 and Project Manager at Corning Incorporated from 2000 to 2002. Prior to that, Mark was the Controls and Electronics Manager at W. M. Keck Observatory from 1986 to 2000 and worked as a Senior Engineer at Rockwell Autonetics between 1979 and 1984. Mark holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from California State University, Fullerton and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
