Thistle Farms
Sammi Accola is a social media coordinator and founder's outreach specialist at Thistle Farms, a position held since May 2022. Previously, Sammi gained experience as a marketing intern at TIM Publishing, where responsibilities included leading social media marketing and managing the song catalog for seven writers. An orientation leader at Belmont University in August 2021, Sammi supported new students during their first week on campus. Sammi also worked as a worship leader at Pine Cove, managing a retail store, creating set lists, and directing a band. Earlier experience includes an editorial and marketing internship with VIE Magazine and The Idea Boutique. Sammi holds a Bachelor of Arts in Songwriting and Journalism from Belmont University and an Associate of Arts degree from Northwest Florida State College.

For over 20 years, Thistle Farms has lit a pathway of healing and hope for women survivors of trafficking, prostitution, and addiction. Our 3 social enterprises provide jobs for survivors in Nashville, TN and around the world - as well revenue for our mission. RESIDENTIAL PROGRAM Our free, 2 year program provides survivors a safe place to live, a meaningful job, and a sisterhood of support. NATIONAL NETWORK The largest network in the United States committed to a housing-first model for survivors. Through our 44 sister organizations, over 350 beds are hosted across the country. GLOBAL SHARED TRADE A commerce platform that connects survivor artisans from around the world and provides over 50% of profits back to the artisan group for community development, women empowerment, healing, and education.
