Anwar El-Wakil

Anwar El-Wakil is a seasoned Cyber Security professional with extensive experience in the fintech and technology sectors. Currently serving as a Cyber Security Senior Manager at Thndr since September 2023, Anwar focuses on enhancing security measures to protect company and customer data within the fintech platform. Previously, Anwar spent over six years at Instabug, starting as a Software Engineer in Quality & Security, progressing to Cyber Security Specialist, and ultimately Cyber Security Manager, where major accomplishments included developing a comprehensive security program and managing a Bug Bounty Program. Anwar began the professional career at Hewlett Packard Enterprise as a Software Quality Engineer, contributing to application testing. Anwar holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Misr International University, completed in 2015.
