Matthew Foley started their career in 2008 as an MIT FabLab Assistant for Sustainable South Bronx. Matthew then worked as a Production Assistant at KCD for a short period in 2009. Foley went on to become a Visual Merchandiser at Prada from 2009 to 2011. In 2011, they joined Thom Browne, Inc. as an Account Executive and later became the Marketing and Communications Manager from 2013 to 2015. Foley rejoined Thom Browne, Inc. in 2016 as a Brand Director and currently holds the position of Vice President of Communications. Additionally, Foley worked as a New Media Consultant at MJFIII starting in 2016.

Matthew Foley's education history includes attending the Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture, Planning & Preservation, where they studied architecture. Matthew also attended Trinity College-Hartford, where they focused on history. Prior to these higher education experiences, they attended The Heights School.

The brand is currently offered in over 300 leading department store and specialty boutique doors across 40 countries and through 68 retail stores, flagships and shop-in-shops with a projected 78 in 2021 in key cities such as New York, London, Milan, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Beijing, Shanghai and Seoul.
