Thi Wan started their work experience in 2013 as a Menswear Designer at Opening Ceremony. Later that year, they worked as a Concept Developer at LVMH. In 2013, Wan also became an Adjunct Professor at Parsons School of Design - The New School. Finally, in 2015, Wan joined Thom Browne, Inc. as the Design Director for Women's and Men's Collections as well as the Men's Pre-Collection.
Thi Wan attended Parsons School of Design, where they pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree. During their time at Parsons, they focused on two areas of study: Communication Design with a specialization in Art Direction, and Fashion Design with a focus on Menswear. The brand is currently offered in over 300 leading department store and specialty boutique doors across 40 countries and through 68 retail stores, flagships and shop-in-shops with a projected 78 in 2021 in key cities such as New York, London, Milan, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Beijing, Shanghai and Seoul.
