Scott Goldschmidt

Scott Goldschmidt is an accomplished attorney specializing in corporate and regulatory matters within the higher education sector. Currently serving as a Partner and Counsel at Thompson Coburn LLP since March 2020, Scott has built a robust legal career with significant experience at The Catholic University of America, where involvement ranged from Law Clerk to Deputy General Counsel over an eight-year span. Earlier roles include Law Clerk positions at the Office of General Counsel for both The Catholic University of America and the Department of Education, as well as serving as a Corps Member at City Year. Scott holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from The George Washington University, complemented by international experience at UNSW.
