Antonio Zappulla

Antonio Zappulla, OMRI, serves as the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer of the Thomson Reuters Foundation since March 2013, where responsibilities include leading the Fundraising, Monitoring & Evaluation, and Global Communications functions, alongside building strategic partnerships to achieve socio-economic impacts. Previously held positions include Director of Strategy and Communications and Director of Communications at the same foundation. Antonio is also a Fellow at the Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce, a Steering Committee Member for the Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism, a Trustee at the International News Safety Institute, and a European Young Leader at Friends of Europe. Prior experience includes significant roles at Bloomberg Television as Executive Producer, Senior Producer, and Producer, as well as an Economics Reporter at Ansa. Antonio's academic background includes advanced degrees from prestigious institutions such as Stanford University and the University of Oxford.
