Edward Trieste is an experienced engineer with a career spanning several decades in optical design and engineering. Since joining Thorlabs in 1994, Edward has contributed significantly to the Optics for Research division, focusing on the design of optical products such as isolators, optical circulators, and microscope objectives. Notable achievements include the development of a 13-element microscope objective and a space-qualified tandem optical isolator. Prior to Thorlabs, Edward worked at Kearfott Guidance and Navigation, where responsibilities included designing optical components for laser gyros and maintaining software for laser scatterometry. Edward holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Engineering Physics from Stevens Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's of Engineering from Don Bosco Prep.
