Lea Scherck is an experienced professional in the fields of human resources and sustainability, currently serving as Vice President of People at ThoughtExchange since September 2011. In this role, Lea leads the HR function and has held various positions within the company, including Senior Vice President of People & Service, where oversight of both the People Team and Professional Services Team was provided. Prior to ThoughtExchange, Lea managed the Sustainability Commission for the City of Rossland and worked at Vancouver Island University as a Research Technician and Regional Liaison for the Tourism Research Innovation Project. Lea's early career included a focus on leadership development at the Tribune Bay Outdoor Education Centre. Educational accomplishments include a Master of Science in Strategic Leadership towards Sustainability from Blekinge Institute of Technology and a Bachelor in Tourism Management, with a major in Recreation, from Vancouver Island University.
