Sorin Dumitrescu

Sorin Dumitrescu is a seasoned Software QA Automation Engineer with extensive experience in quality assurance and test automation across various industries. Currently serving as a Sr. Software QA Automation Engineer at ThreatConnect since January 2022, Sorin leads UI test automation initiatives utilizing tools such as Cypress and GitLab pipelines. Prior roles include Sr. Software QA Automation Engineer at Micro Focus, where responsibilities included architecting a test automation framework and validating QA for LoadRunner Enterprise applications, and serving at Garmin International, focusing on automation for CRM web applications. Earlier in the career, Sorin contributed as a Software Test Engineer at Pentalog and as a Hardware in the Loop Integration Test Engineer at Continental Automotive Systems, working on automotive projects. Sorin holds a degree from the Technical University of Cluj Napoca, completed in 2006.
