Joshua Sokolowski began their work experience in 2004 as an Amphibious Assault Section Leader in the United States Marine Corps, where they served until 2012. In 2013, they enrolled as a student at ITT Technical Institute. In 2015, Sokolowski joined ThreatHunter.ai as a Tactical Engineer, responsible for building and configuring the company's proprietary Edgewall inline network access control device. JOSHUA also provided customer support and troubleshooting for these devices. Over the years, they progressed within the company, taking on roles such as SOC Lead, Manager of SOC & IR Operations, Director of SOC Operations, Director of Cyber Security Operations Center, and currently holds the position of Director of Security and Threat Operations.
Joshua Sokolowski completed their associate's degree in Network and System Administration/Administrator from ITT Technical Institute-Orange from 2013 to 2016. In 2013, they also attended the National Personal Trainer Institute in Costa Mesa, CA, where they obtained certifications as a Personal Trainer, Corrective Exercise Specialist, and Performance Enhancement Specialist. Additionally, in September 2015, Joshua obtained the Cisco Certified Network Associate certification from Cisco.
