Luca Winter has extensive work experience in a variety of roles. In 2014, they worked as an iOS App Developer at Brno University of Technology, developing an iOS app that controlled photographic equipment wirelessly. From 2016 to 2017, Luca worked on a Master's Thesis project at Kiwi.com, focusing on natural language processing and named entity recognition in email messages. They compared the performance of existing NER solutions and custom-built solutions using neural networks and conditional random fields. In 2016, Luca also had roles as a Test Automation Engineer (Intern) at SolarWinds and as a Web Developer at WINTERPACK. In 2018, they worked as a Technical Support Engineer at Zebra Technologies. Since 2019, Luca has been at ThreatMark, holding the position of Lead Security Engineer. In this role, they lead the development of internal tools for detecting and monitoring various cyber attack types, perform malware analysis, and analyze security vulnerabilities. They utilize a tech stack that includes Python, PostgreSQL, Redis, AWS, and Docker.

Luca Winter pursued a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from 2012 to 2015 at Brno University of Technology. Following this, Luca pursued a Master's degree in Applied Computer Science and Control from 2015 to 2017, also at Brno University of Technology.
