Emily Moen

Emily Moen serves as the Chief Communications Officer at Thresholds, a nonprofit healthcare provider, since May 2012, overseeing all external communications, media relations, and marketing while fostering internal communications for 1,300 employees across 90+ locations in northeastern Illinois. Previously, Emily held roles including Vice President and Director of Public Relations and Marketing for Illinois's largest community-based mental health agency, where responsibilities included managing communications, supporting executive functions, and driving strategic messaging. Earlier experience includes positions at the Chicago Community Loan Fund, focusing on communications and fundraising, and as School-Age Education Coordinator at Hilltop Lutheran Neighborhood Center, developing educational programming for children. Emily Moen earned a BA in English and Religion from St. Olaf College.
