Who We Are Looking For:

We are seeking an Assistant Manager, Digital Merchandising to oversee the development and continuous enhancement of our online product catalog. This role combines strategic product management with hands-on web merchandising, requiring a unique blend of analytical skills, market insight, and a keen understanding of e-commerce and consumer behavior.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Catalog Management: Manage the online product catalog, ensuring all product information is accurate, SEO optimized, and appealing to our target audience.
  • Web Merchandising: Design and execute visual merchandising strategies on the website. Optimize product placements to maximize visibility and sales conversion rates.
  • **Cross-functional Collaboration:**Collaborate with marketing, design, and product teams to coordinate timely launches, promotions, and site updates, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor and report on product performance, web traffic, and user engagement metrics. Use insights to drive improvements and innovate merchandising strategies. Derive insights and share out to cross-functional partners.
  • User Experience Optimization: Lead with best-in-class UX/UI practices to enhance the online shopping experience, ensuring it is customer-focused and brand-aligned.
  • Inventory and Supply Chain Coordination: Coordinate with supply chain and inventory management teams to ensure product availability aligns with marketing and sales forecasts.

What Will Make You Stand Out

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in site merchandising in a direct-to-consumer business is required.
  • Experience with ShopifyPlus is required.
  • Experience with onsite search tools like Algolia, Klevu, and SearchSpring.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with e-commerce analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Lookr, SEMrush).
  • Proven ability to manage and optimize product catalogs.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Creative and strategic thinking ability.
  • Background in SEO and digital marketing strategies.
  • Project management experience and ability to handle multiple priorities.
