Victor Wong has over twenty years of experience in finance and accounting. Victor began their career in 1998 as the Director of Finance and Corporate Controller at the Golden State Warriors, a privately-owned sports franchise. In 2002, they moved to San Jose Water as the Corporate Controller, managing an accounting team of eleven. From 2005 to 2007, Victor worked at Therma-Wave, Inc. as the Assistant Controller, responsible for worldwide accounting, quarterly reviews, annual audits, and SEC filings. Victor then moved to KLA-Tencor as the Operations Controller, managing cost accounting and inventory valuation. In 2008, Victor joined Aptina Imaging as the Assistant Controller, managing accounting operations for a $600M annual revenue semiconductor company. From 2013 to 2017, they worked at LumaSense Technologies, Inc. as the Vice President of Finance and Corporate Controller. Victor then moved to Skyhigh Networks as the Corporate Controller. In 2019, they joined Blue Lava, Inc. as the Vice President of Finance, and is currently the Head of Finance at Thunkable since 2022.
Victor Wong obtained their MBA in Finance from San Francisco State University's Lam Family College of Business between 1992 and 1995. Prior to this, they earned their BS in Managerial Economics from the University of California, Davis between 1987 and 1991.
