Diane Short

Diane Short is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in relationship management and financial planning education. Currently serving as Managing Director and Market Leader at TIAA since January 2011, Diane has been integral to the organization's mission of supporting individuals in the academic, medical, cultural, and research sectors. In addition, Diane has held the position of Senior Relationship Manager at DePaul University School of Continuing and Professional Studies since January 2003, where Diane also instructs courses on Financial Planning Basics and Retirement Planning and Employee Benefits. Diane's prior roles include Relationship Manager at The Standard and Senior Institutional Consultant at TIAA-CREF, where Diane focused on building relationships in the 401(k) and 403(b) plan markets, and Trust Officer at Comerica Bank, managing large employers' retirement plans. Diane holds a Bachelor's of Art in Business, Finance from Wayne State University.
