Mobeen Lalani is a Senior Analyst in Technology and Venture Development at TIAP, focusing on Digital Health, Medical Devices, and AI in Healthcare, while co-leading the Critical Technologies Initiative Funding. Concurrently, Mobeen serves as an Analyst at the University of Toronto, where responsibilities include teaching courses on economics and leadership for digital health transformation. As Toronto Lead for the South-Asian Venture Capital Association of Canada, Mobeen facilitates networking among South Asian professionals in the Canadian tech sector. Mobeen also contributes as a Global Shaper for the World Economic Forum and participates in HIMSS's Professional Development Committee. Previous experience includes roles in sales business development at Locke Bio, AI for Public Health at AI for Good Foundation, and founding Emerging Youth Consultancy, which enhances youth representation in governance. Mobeen's educational background encompasses a Master of Health Informatics from the University of Toronto and various certifications, including a short course in Health Law focused on Artificial Intelligence.
