Ross Longton is a seasoned marketing professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various organizations. Since co-founding Tiba Tempeh in November 2019, Ross has served as Co-Founder and Marketing Director, as well as Co-Founder and Non-Exec Director. Prior to this, Ross was the Global Head of Innovation at Jordans Dorset Ryvita from November 2016 to November 2023. Notable experience at The Kraft Heinz Company includes roles such as Head of Marketing for Sauces and various marketing management positions. Early career experiences include a summer placement as an advertising creative at Leo Burnett and a university placement as a marketing assistant at H.J. Heinz Company. Ross holds a B.A Honours Degree in Marketing Management from Northumbria University, obtained between 1996 and 2001.

At Tiba Tempeh, we are on a mission to help people feel full of life, powered by delicious, naturally healthy and sustainable plant-based food. We call it ‘That Tiba Feeling’. Our story started on a trip to Indonesia. At a beautiful beachside restaurant, we were served a local tempeh dish, and it was love at first bite. We were blown away by tempeh’s delicious taste and incredible nutritional benefits. Unlike most meat alternatives, it was made from 100% natural ingredients and was amazingly high in protein. All this from just three natural ingredients – soybeans, water and live cultures that create delicious food that leaves you feeling healthier, lighter, energised and altogether more alive. We knew we had to introduce this incredible superfood to people back home and Tiba Tempeh was born. We called it Tiba (pronounced tee-bah) which means ‘arrive’ in Indonesian. Now tempeh has arrived and so has that Tiba feeling. That Tiba feeling isn’t just good for you, it’s also good for the planet: • All our products have a very low carbon footprint verified by My Emissions farm to folk analysis. • Our products contain 100% natural ingredients and are organic, using no pesticides or chemical fertilisers. • We only ever use sustainably certified, non-GMO soybeans from reputable growers and never source where deforestation is an issue.
