Simon Michael Barchard

Simon Michael Barchard has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Simon Michael is currently serving as the CEO of TICRA since December 2023. Prior to that, they were associated with Teledyne Marine where they held the position of Vice President, Business Development from February 2020 to December 2023, and Commercial Director, Imaging from October 2016 to February 2020. Before joining Teledyne Marine, they worked at Teledyne RESON as a Senior Product Manager from July 2012 to September 2016, Product Lifecycle Manager, Systems from January 2006 to June 2012, and R&D Engineer from September 2004 to January 2006. Simon also worked as a Development Engineer at Maridan A/S from 2001 to 2003.

Simon Michael Barchard completed an Executive Program in Driving Strategic Innovation at IMD in 2019. In 2004, they took selected courses in International Economics and Industrial Organizational Analysis at Copenhagen Business School. Simon also holds a BSc. Honours degree in Mechatronics, specializing in Electronics, Software, and Mechanics, from the University of Cape Town, which they obtained between 1996 and 1999.
