James Principe MD FACP FAAP SFHM has a diverse and extensive work experience in the medical field. James started their career in 1992 as the Founder and Managing Partner of Georgetown Internal Medicine and Pediatrics LLC, where they held this role until 2007. James then joined Eagle Telemedicine as the Medical Director from 2007 to 2017. In 2017, they became the Hospitalist Medical Director at Tidelands Health, and later went on to serve as the Associate Chief Medical Officer from 2018 to 2021. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Medical Officer at Tidelands Health.

James Principe MD FACP FAAP SFHM completed their education with a residency at Duke University Medical Center from 1988 to 1992, focusing on Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. Prior to that, they obtained their Medical Doctor (MD) degree from UMDNJ-NJ Medical School between 1985 and 1988. James Principe's undergraduate studies in Biology took place at Rutgers College from 1976 to 1980, resulting in a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree.
