HEATHER HARDIMAN (MCCRAIG)
VICE PRESIDENT FOR ADMINISTRATION AND CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Heather Hardiman (McCraig) provides strategic, college-wide leadership for the functional areas that embrace TCC’s financial units including accounting, budgeting, procurement and materiel management, cash management, student financial aid services, auxiliary services, contract management, and financial reporting for the college’s foundations. Ms. Hardiman (McCraig) also oversees the area of Facilities Planning and Operations for the college encompassing Operations and Maintenance as well as Custodial Services. Ms. Hardiman (McCraig) oversees the college’s facilities master planning along with the bi-annual capital planning process.
Ms. Hardiman (McCraig) joined TCC in 2012. Prior to her appointment, Ms. Hardiman (McCraig) served as the Associate Vice President for Finance and the Director of Financial Systems and Operations with TCC. Ms. Hardiman (McCraig) has twenty-three years of experience with public and private organizations including Marriott International, Hampton Roads Transit, and Amerigroup Corporation.
Ms. Hardiman (McCraig) earned a master’s in accounting and a master’s in information systems from The University of Maryland, University College. She also earned a bachelor’s of science in management accounting from Park University.

Founded in 1968 as a part of the Virginia Community College System, Tidewater Community College (TCC) serves South Hampton Roads with campuses in Chesapeake, Norfolk, Portsmouth, and Virginia Beach. TCC is the largest provider of higher education and workforce development services in Hampton Roads, enrolling nearly 34,000 students annually—the second largest undergraduate student body in the Commonwealth of Virginia. It is the 11th largest public two-year community college in the entire nation.
