Josh Howell, Ph.D., currently serves as the Program Accreditation and Academic Compliance Coordinator at Tidewater Community College and has been an Adjunct Faculty member at Old Dominion University since November 2015, teaching courses in statistics and higher education politics. Howell also holds adjunct faculty positions at Brenau University and has extensive experience in English instruction, having served as an Associate Professor of English at College of The Albemarle and as an Assistant Professor of English at Tidewater Community College. Founded in 1968 as a part of the Virginia Community College System, Tidewater Community College (TCC) serves South Hampton Roads with campuses in Chesapeake, Norfolk, Portsmouth, and Virginia Beach. TCC is the largest provider of higher education and workforce development services in Hampton Roads, enrolling nearly 34,000 students annually—the second largest undergraduate student body in the Commonwealth of Virginia. It is the 11th largest public two-year community college in the entire nation.
