Robin Ying

Robin Ying has a variety of work experience in the field of information technology and education.

Starting in 2005, Robin worked as the Associate VP for Information Technology at Imperial Valley Community College until 2010.

From 2006 to 2010, Robin also served on the System-wide Architecture Committee at the California Community Colleges Chancellors Office - TTAC.

In 2009, Robin served as the Chair of the Technology Advisory Committee at the Imperial Valley Telecommunications Authority (IVTA) until 2010.

In 2011, Robin joined Oklahoma City Community College as the Vice President for Information & Instructional Technology Services until 2012.

Also in 2011, Robin joined EDUCAUSE and served as the Chair of the Advanced Core Technology Initiative - Optimizing Computing Infrastructure Working Group until 2013. Robin also served on the ECAR Working Group Strategies Committee during this time.

Starting in 2012, Robin became the Vice President for Information Systems at Tidewater Community College.

Robin Ying received their Ph.D in Electrical Engineering & Computer Sciences from the University of California, Berkeley in 1982. Prior to that, they obtained an MS in Engineering & Applied Sciences from Yale University in 1976. It is unclear when or if they pursued any education at National Taiwan University.
