Emily Art

Senior Consultant at TiER1 Performance

Emily has worn many learning hats over the years. She started out as a classroom trainer before becoming a training and quality manager in a service center. She then took those experiences and transitioned to an instructional design and learning strategy position where she found her calling!

Emily assists with a youth choir that has traveled to complete service missions in Chicago, Nashville, New Orleans, New York City, Orlando, and Washington D.C. They have served the homeless, sorted food and other goods for families who lost their homes in natural disasters, spent time with veterans, sung to those suffering from AIDS, delivered meals to home-bound seniors, and painted homes and schools. While the work was often hard (and hot!), the kids always gave 110%. Emily says it’s amazing to work with kids who are willing to give up some of their summer vacation to support those in need.

TiER1’s mission is to improve organizations through the performance of people to build a better world. We wake up every morning ready to tackle big challenges, so that more people can do the amazing work they are meant to do. When they contribute more, stretch their talents, and free themselves of workplace limits, a remarkable thing happens—they become happier and more fulfilled. And that means they reduce stress, create healthier relationships, and simply find more joy. Every day we’re in business, we really are building a better world.
