Jose Daniel Velazco-Garcia

Jose Daniel Velazco-Garcia is a skilled software engineer currently employed at Tietronix Software, Inc. since June 2022, following extensive academic and professional experiences in the field of computer science. As a PhD candidate at the University of Houston from September 2019 to May 2022, Jose conducted research focused on augmented reality visualization methods for medical data, enhancing real-time diagnosis and image-guided interventions. Additional roles include teaching object-oriented programming as an adjunct professor at the University of Houston-Clear Lake, contributing as a medical robotics intern at Hamad Medical Corporation, and various positions as a teaching assistant, software developer intern, and student mentor throughout their academic career. Jose holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science from the University of Houston and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from the University of Houston-Clear Lake, alongside an Associate of Science in Mathematics from San Jacinto College.
