Brian McMahon has worked in the software engineering field since 2012. Brian began their career as Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer at The Merchant Lab, where they developed custom eCommerce sites, estimated new work, and kept up with previous customer's products. Features developed included social media integrations, payment processing integrations, shipping API integrations, and upselling features. In 2015, they became Self Employed as a Software Contractor and Team Lead at MailChannels. Since 2019, they have worked at Tigera as a Staff Software Engineer, Senior Software Engineer, and Software Engineer.
Brian McMahon attended Capilano University from 2006 to 2008, studying Mathematics and Computer Science. Brian then went on to The University of British Columbia, graduating in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mathematics and Computer Science. Brian also holds certifications from Code School in Shaping up with Angular.js.
